The Hoag Music Series Presents: The Rochester Chapter of the American Recorder Society

August 17 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

The Hoag Music Series is held at the Hoag Library in Albion, New York from March to December. This free-to-attend concert series is aimed at bringing unique music experiences to Orleans County, from artists who do not frequently perform here.

The Rochester Chapter of the American Recorder Society is a group of Rochester-area recorder players who meet from September to May. Together with several talented volunteer teachers, the group provides opportunities to participate in learning sessions, consorts, and several performances. The chapter was founded in the spring of 1965, and are proud to have been meeting for over fifty years.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council of the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART!
