Music in the Park

Music in the Park is a free community concert to be held at DeWitt Recreation Area on August 8th, 2026 presented by ACORNS. Music in the Park will feature a performance by the Batavia Swing Band, a local group based out of Batavia with over 50 years of experience performing swing, big band, and contemporary music. ACORNS will invite swing dance groups to perform during the concert and encourage participants to join them in dance. Local food trucks will be on hand to offer food for sale during the concert. ACORNS will also offer hands-on music and nature-related crafts and activities for attendees before and during the concert.

ACORNS is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports Genesee County Parks by connecting people with nature through outdoor learning, exploration and fun. Join us for a fun summer night of music!
