August 9 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

This program deals with Hand Sewn Bookbinding. Students will produce at least one finished book during the class. We will learn how to fold signatures, use an awl to punch holes and stitch together our pages. Lovely Japanese paper will be glued onto mat board for the covers; the signatures will be placed inside and glued in. Voila! Your own book!

Choose one of the three options for the workshop: Sewn Pamphlet Book, Hard Cover Sewn Book or Japanese Binding with a Hard Cover.

All experience levels are welcome in this lively and productive workshop.
