GO ART! invites children ages 2 through 5, along with
their parents or favorite person, to participate in the
Do-Re-Me, You and Me, Music & Motion Preschool Classes with Marianne Skye.
This Summer session offers four classes at GO ART! in June:
Wednesday, June 3: 10 AM-10:45 AM
Wednesday, June 10: 10 AM-10:45 AM
Wednesday, June 17: 10 AM-10:45 AM
Wednesday, June 24: 10 AM-10:45 AM
Cost: $40 for the entire series

About the class:
We will focus on seasonal songs, play, motor and locomotor movement, instrumental exploration, vocal and rhythmic call-and-response, listening activities, story time, and fun! The curriculum is designed to engage young learners through play and exploration, providing a safe and nurturing environment in which they can discover and develop essential skills, including language, cognition, and physical development, while also supporting and encouraging social and emotional learning. GO ART! is thrilled to provide this opportunity and instill a love of music and the arts in our youngest community members!
About the teacher:
Marianne Skye has worked with preschoolers since 1999. Her experience includes nearly 20 years at Kidstart Preschool, providing physical therapy services to kids with special needs. While at Kidstart, she led group circle times, played her guitar, and facilitated music and movement programs in the classrooms, planned gross motor/gym activities, and ran music and yoga programs. Marianne is an experienced yoga instructor and has facilitated family yoga, adult yoga classes, kids’ yoga clubs, and kids’ yoga classes.
In the summer of 2024, Marianne was awarded a Reach Grant from GO ART! to record an album of classic children’s songs and held 17 action-song-sing-alongs in Genesee County. Marianne is thrilled to share her passion for music and movement with our children.
