GREGORY A. HALLOCK

Executive Director

GREGORY A. HALLOCK is the Executive Director at the Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council. Gregory holds an M.A. in Arts Management from the University at Buffalo, a B.S. from SUNY Brockport in Theatre with an acting concentration and minor in dance, and an A.A. from Genesee Community College in Theatre Arts. Having a background in arts and cultural studies, Gregory has traveled to and studied in Italy, The Netherlands, England, The Philippines, Japan, and Singapore. In Singapore he was part of the Theatre Training & Research Programme, “The Arts and Cultural Identity in a Borderless World,” which focused on current issues of international arts management such as international models of arts funding, public policy making, and performance & visual arts. Gregory is also an Eagle Scout. With the Scouts he traveled to the 18th World Jamboree in The Netherlands where the theme was Future is Now . The event was attended by Royalty from the Netherlands, Sweden, Jordan, and Sadako Ogata, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Gregory has also represented Congressional Districts from Western New York, New York City, Hawaii, and California at Museum Advocacy Day in Washington D.C., meeting with Congressional Representatives discussing the needs of and for Museums. He has lived in Cattaraugus, Erie, and Genesee Counties, along with New York City, Los Angeles, and Honolulu. Prior to GO ART! Gregory has worked at Shea’s Performing Arts Center and Squeaky Wheel/Buffalo Media Resources. In his skinnier days he played Joseph in the Batavia Rotary Club’s production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. Yes, that means you might have seen him in a loincloth. Also, he tries to keep the swearing to a minimum, but Julie Andrews is one of his biggest idols; supercalifragilisticexpialidocioushit…… If this doesn’t make sense, look up Julie Andrews, Kelly Clarkson and swearing.

JACKIE SWABY

Education Director & Gallery Curator

Jacqueline “Jackie” Swaby is the current Education Director and Gallery Curator for GO ART! a role she assumed in September 2024. Before this position, she spent 16 years as the Executive Director and 12 years as Gallery Curator for the Arts Council for Wyoming County (ACWC). Jackie also held the Director position at the Cordelia A. Greene Library for 20 years prior to her roles at the ACWC. In her role as library director, she guided significant modernization efforts, such as a major building remodel and library automation, which greatly improved operational capacity and service outreach. Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, Jackie began her career as an art and social studies high school teacher at Westwood High School, where she founded a pioneering youth folk music group that received accolades at regional and national competitions. Throughout her 36 years in the arts and education sectors, her career has been marked by securing millions in grant funding for the organizations she has served. She has also been instrumental in establishing satellite galleries within local communities and has made substantial contributions to the arts and nonprofit sectors through her work and participation on various committees and panels, including the Wyoming County Women’s Business Summit, the Leaders of Color Roundtable facilitated by the John R. Oishei Foundation, and panels for the New York State Council on the Arts, among others. Jackie holds a BA in Information Science from Columbus StateUniversity, along with certifications in American Literature from Converse College, Spartanburg, SC, and Textile Design from Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, Jamaica, as well as a background in Art and Social Studies teaching certification from Excelsior Community College in Kingston, Jamaica. Her dedication to professional development is highlighted by numerous continuing education certifications. Jackie has received multiple awards, including the L. Marion Mosher Asa W. Clink Award for Distinguished Librarianship, the Wyoming County Youth Bureau Service to Youth Award, and the Rotary Club of Perry Community Service Award. In addition to periodically conducting drum circles, Jackie has been involved with various civic, religious, and community organizations during her almost 40 years in the US, such as the Castile United Church of Christ, Arts New York State, and Perry DRI, reflecting her wide-ranging interests and commitment to community engagement. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jackie is an enthusiastic cyclist and gardener who values her time spent outdoors and embraces contemplative living.

JODI FISHER

Program Director/SCR Co-Coordinator

Jodi is the Program Director and Statewide Community Regrant Co-Coordinator at GO ART! Jodi has a MS from the University at Buffalo with a Professional Business Management Certificate.  Jodi had the opportunity to live in France for a year when she was in her early teens.  Some of the places she visited during her stay in Europe were Paris (Tour Eiffel, Arc de Triomphe, Le Louvre, Notre-Dame, Versille and more), Amsterdam (Keukenhof Tulip Gardens, Damn Square, De Negen Straatjes, De Wallen, Anne Frank’s House, Canals of Amsterdam, Delft Blue and more),  The Black Forest in Germany and much more!  While she was there she enjoyed traveling around Europe and emerging herself in the history, arts and culture.  Jodi enjoys visiting museums, art galleries, art shows, writing poetry, taking photos, spending time outdoors and spending time with her family.  In high school Jodi played two characters in the Wizard of Oz as well as Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat.  
Jodi loves learning and has taught herself how to dye fabric using plants, how to paint dot mandalas, how to sew, how to take decent photographs and more!

ABE INGHAM (they/them)

Administrative Assistant

Abe Ingham joined GO ART! with a passion for organization, accessibility, and supporting creative communities from behind the scenes. As Administrative Assistant, Abe works across departments to coordinate schedules, manage communications, and assist with the logistics that keep GO ART!’s programs and events running smoothly.

Their chosen name is a tribute to two figures rooted in both local and national history. “Abe” honors Abraham Lincoln, and specifically his connection to Orleans County, where young Grace Bedell of Albion famously wrote to him in 1860 suggesting he grow a beard—advice he took as he campaigned for the presidency. “Ingham” references Ingham University in LeRoy, the first women’s university in New York State, once home to an esteemed art conservatory. The conservatory building still stands today as part of the Woodward Memorial Library, continuing its legacy as a cultural touchstone for the region.

Abe brings a calm, thoughtful presence to their role, helping to ensure that staff, artists, and community members feel supported and welcomed. With a keen eye for detail and a deep respect for the creative process, Abe reflects GO ART!’s mission to make the arts accessible, inclusive, and woven into the fabric of everyday life.
